What we collect
- Quote requests: the name, company or department, email, phone number and request details you type into the form.
- Direct contact: whatever you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- Analytics (only if you accept cookies): pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and which buttons were clicked, collected by Google Analytics.
Why we use it
We use your details to answer your request, prepare quotes and invoices, deliver the work you ask for, and keep records we are legally required to keep. We do not sell your information or add you to marketing lists without asking.
Where it is stored
Form submissions are received through our website host, Netlify, Inc., and forwarded to our business email. Analytics data is processed by Google LLC. Both providers may store data outside South Africa, under their own data-protection terms, which is permitted by section 72 of POPIA.
Cookies
The site works without cookies. If you choose Accept on the cookie banner, Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) to count visits. If you choose Decline, none are set. Your choice is stored in your browser, and you can change it any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t lead to work are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up, then deleted. Records linked to quotes, orders and invoices are kept for as long as tax and company law require.
Your rights
You may ask us to confirm what information we hold about you, correct or delete it, or stop using it. Email larry@emahlweni.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
